I read this in the star last week (Friday, 29 April 2013) and I think I should share this here in Melaka Cool. The article depicts the racial harmony that we have in Malaysia. How we can live together despite the differences of race and religion. I just hope that the coming general election will not change this.

Bertam Ulu FC – The Famous Amatuer Futsal Team from Melaka
Do you like to play or watching futsal? At Melaka there are many futsal court you can go to play or organize a futsal event. People in Melaka loves futsal and there are many teams from Melaka that participate in futsal events outside Melaka.
The most famous futsal team from Melaka is the Bertam Ulu FC. It is a very well known team, not just in Melaka, but also Malaysia. If you have been following the local futsal news, whether through the news paper or internet, then you should have not missed them. Bertam Ulu FC has won many futsal tournaments. It is respected and feared by many. You don’t want your team to be facing them early in any tournament.

Hari mengundi sudah semakin dekat dan disebabkan mengundi hanya lima tahun sekali, tentu ramai yang tidak ingat apa langkah-langkah untuk mengundi. Terutamanya pengundi-pengundi baru yang pertama kali hendak mengundi. Berikut adalah 7 langkah pengundian yang dikeluarkan oleh Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya Malaysia:

Senarai calon pilihanraya umum ke 13 telahpun diumumkan pada hari Sabtu yang lalu termasuk calon di Melaka. Kini tiba masanya untuk pemilih berdaftar di Melaka mengundi pada 5 Mei 2013.
Pilihanraya yang akan menentukan pemerintahan negara dan negeri Melaka samada akan kekal dengan parti sedia ada atau berlaku perubahan kuasa. Di Melaka terdapat 6 buah Parlimen dan 28 Dewan Undangan Negeri. Berikut merupakan senarai calon PRU-13 di Melaka:

Getting to Melaka: By Bus
We will be publishing a series of articles on Getting to Melaka, and we are starting with how to get to Melaka by bus.
If you are not driving on your own, travelling to Melaka by bus is favored by most people. This is because Melaka is well connected to the PLUS highway via three major exits, Simpang Empat, Alor Gajah toll plaza, Lipat Kajang, Jasin toll plaza and Ayer Keroh toll plaza. It is also easy to access Melaka by bus because Melaka have 3 main bus hubs such as Melaka Sentral, Alor Gajah Sentral and Jasin Sentral. The location of the bus stations are based on their districts, Cental Melaka, Alor Gajah and Jasin.
Getting to Melaka by Bus from KL
As KL is the center of Malaysia, most tourist will transit here before going to the other parts of Malaysia. Previously, to go to Melaka from KL, you need to go to the Pudu Raya bus station, but now, there’s a new bus terminal – the Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) at Bandar Tasik Selatan.
There are many bus companies operating at the terminal. You can buy the bus ticket at the counters or online. Most of bus will stop at Melaka Sentral and some of them will stop at Alor Gajah Sentral to drop off passenger. The bus trip is about 1 hours 45 minute. You can check the bus schedule at their website here. The ticket price is between RM9 to RM13 depending on the bus operators.
