Coral Wonderland Melaka: Malaysia’s Most Touchable Aquarium

Remember ‘Finding Nemo’. If you do, then I am sure you also remembered Marlin, Dory, Bruce and all those beautiful sea creatures.  I am sure you and your kids enjoyed the movie. I did. If you like what you see, can you imagine what would it be like if you can touch them?

In Melaka, there’s a touchable aquarium for you to visit. Coral Wonderland Melaka is a place for you to visit as the aquarium is not just for watch only but you can touch the marine life. It is the first and only Coral Park in Malaysia. It also the longest coral aquarium in Malaysia and longest touch pool in Asia with over 1000 colorful species marine fishes and corals.

The school break for ‘Hari Raya’ is just around the corner. If you have nothing plan, then lets plan a visit to Coral Wonderland.

Where is The Coral Wonderland Melaka located?

It is located at Floor 4, Dataran Pahlawan Megamall Melaka, which is about 14 kilometers from Toll Ayer Keroh exit and situated at Banda Hilir, Melaka.

Pro dan Kontra Bazar Ramadhan Taman Cempaka Berpindah

Ramadhan hampir menjelma. Di Melaka, majoriti penduduknya beragama Islam dan akan menyambut bulan mulia ini dengan meriah.  Selain dari menunaikan ibadah, pada bulan mulia ini ramai peniaga yang akan mengambil kesempatan memandangkan peluang perniagaan cukup besar. Selain dari peluang untuk menjual makanan berbuka puasa, terdapat peluang untuk menjual produk lain seperti pakaian, kuih raya serta barang-barang persiapan untuk menyambut Syawal selepas tamatnya menunaikan ibadah puasa.

Selain membeli barangan di gedung membeli belah, akan wujudnya bazar Ramadhan yang menjual pelbagai barangan keperluan hari raya. Terdapat  banyak bazar Ramadhan yang dibuka bagi memberi peluang kepada peniaga mahupun pengguna menjual dan membeli barang keperluan dengan harga yang terbaik .

Salah satu bazar Ramadhan yang terkenal di Melaka adalah Bazar Ramadhan Taman Cempaka.  Bazar Ramadhan yang telah wujud sejak dari tahun 90-an ini diberitakan akan dipindahkan bermula dari tahun ini. Bazar yang terletak di Taman Cempaka , Peringgit, Melaka ini dikhabarkan akan berpindah ke lokasi di Jalan Hang Tuah.  Walaubagaimanapun, perpindahan ini hanya melibatkan peniaga yang meniaga pada waktu malam manakala peniaga di pasar Ramadhan pada waktu petang masih kekal.

Jonker Walk The Culprit For The Traffic Woes in Melaka?

That’s what the new Chief Minister Datuk Idris Haron thinks. I can’t blame him, with all the complaints about the traffic in Melaka especially during weekends, something need to be done. At least he said that this is a 4 weekends study. And by the time it is finish, I hope that Jonker Walk will be back as usual without the traffic.

Not that you can’t walk while it is open for traffic, but its different.

While you can walk freely previously, now you have to squeeze through the stalls along the five-foot pathway. With so many people around, I don’t think it will be easy to go through the things you want to buy. Eating cendol at Jonker Walk would not be as satisfying as before.

I really hope that the study is only for 4 weekends. It has been 13 years without traffic, and only now to blame Jonker Walk as the culprit?
